Lunchtime Lectures with Eric

Join us on the third Thursday of each month from 12 Noon until 12:45 PM, as Sports West's Licensed Sports Nutritionist and Personal Training Program Director, Eric Sell for an informative 45 minute talk. Each month, Eric will present a new, informative topic.

This month, Thursday, August 16th at 12 Noon, stop by to learn about: What is Sports West Nutrition Coaching? Come to this presentation and find out how Sports West coaches administer nutrition coaching. A complimentary nutrition consultation will be awarded to one of the attendees! ($100 value.)

Lap Swim 101

With Master Swim Coach Scott Young

Learn the basics of lap swimming, so that you too can get a great workout in the pool!

Class will include: pool etiquette, lane sharing, choosing your lane, using a pace clock, breathing technique, necessary equipment, how to read a swim workout, dry land and in-water instruction, freestyle stroke development, introduction to the 4 competitive strokes (fly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle.) Sports West Master Swim Coach Scott Young will teach this once a month class, open to all members who want to learn! This class will take place once per quarter. Please stay tuned for times and dates, announcement coming soon!

Cycling 101

Of course we can teach these classes better than anyone else because we have the new Matrix ICG7 bikes. If you haven't used them before, we have a FREE intro class on the first Saturday of every month, 8- 8:30 AM.

Next Cycling 101 class will be on Saturday, August 4th at 8 AM.
